August 1 2016 Challenge Reveal

Hello there!

It is the first of the month and that means it is time for a new sketch challenge!  But first let's chat about the sponsors for this challenge.

A big thank you goes out to ScrapMatts, for sponsoring this challenge, they are offering 2 large pieces of chipboard, valued at $20.00, to one lucky participant!

ScrapMatts is a place to learn, share ideas and view some great design concepts, while offering Australian Made, Laser Cut Chipboard, original shapes and designs, made to compliment your scrapbooking pages or your card making projects

AND thank you to Scrapbook Circle, who are also sponsoring this challenge, offering a second lucky participant their choice of any current and in stock kit!

We are a low commitment kit club where you can purchase a single kit at our regular price or sign up for a subscription where you commit to only two consecutive kits and receive a $5 discount each month on your kit. We pride ourselves in being a boutique scrapbooking company where you will find exclusive and custom made products in every kit. We love preserving memories and our design team shares daily inspiration on our blog.

We will also be choosing one scrapbooker from each challenge to guest with us at a later date!  For example, our chosen scrapbooker from our August 1st challenge will guest for our October 1st challenge!

Now let's get started with the challenge, here is your sketch....

As always we have a guest designer joining us. Please help us welcome  Cécile Landy  to our August 1st challenge!!

I will let Cécile tell you a bit about herself....

"I am named Cécile, I am 35 years old, and I created a few months ago my new letsdoitcecile.wordpress.com blog.

I scrapped previously under the name of CecileScrappe, had another blog and was a member of 2 DT but, painful personal events made me everything stop. I then resold all my material and took time to reconstruct me and to change life.

Historically, I began to scrap in my corner 8 years ago and for this resumption, I decided to set to work really seriously and to try to participate in a maximum of challenge to make me known.

Follower on basis of clean and simple, I take more and more pleasure to try "to fiddle" a little my pages and my albums. I began myself with the gesso, ink, watercolor, and openly that pleases me well. I thus have a little of evil to be asserted in which style I am situated, nor even of which style I feel the closest because I evolve according to what I discover and possibilities which are offered to me."

Here is Cécile's layout based on our sketch.

Thank you for joining us Cécile!

Now lets have a look at our fantastic DT reveals (in alphabetical order!)....

Please link up your layouts over in the sidebar by August 29th at midnight EST to be in the running for one of our prizes!   All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard for our team to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr. (Though we may not be able to comment in all forums.)

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with other non-sketch challenges, such as colour challenges.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge.  We would also love for you to share the sketch, too!

Thank you for visiting, we cannot wait to see what you create!
